This 62% cacao chocolate is made with cacao grown using agroforestry practices. It features a fruity, tart flavor reminiscent of dried fruit and a powerful cacao flavor.
Green cacao is grown in the Tome-Açu region, located at the mouth of the Amazon River in Brazil, approximately 230 km south of Belém, the capital of Bará state. Agroforestry practices involve cultivating cacao in a mixed-crop environment that is in keeping with the Amazon forest ecosystem, allowing for the regeneration of deforestation and the cultivation of cacao. This approach not only contributes to environmental conservation but also contributes to the economic stability of small Brazilian farmers.
This chocolate is simple and delivers a straightforward cacao flavor.
